Font Styles

From using Dafont.com I have been able to find various font styles that I have liked the look of to use for my digipak and website. To ensure that these fonts look effective on my ancillary texts I will have to use them consistently so that they follow a housestyle ensuring my ancillary texts look professional. I have found that my looking at this font website, that i prefer these styles the most as they are quite simplistic and within a indie folk genre the styles of digipaks and websites are quite simplistic in contrast to other artists from a different genre. Conventionally, the font styles are also look like they have been hand drawn or not look like they have been typed on a computer.

All three have different font styles but The Paper Kites album looks the most simplistic font style used and is from the indie folk genre. The font is quite simplistic matching the simplistic feel of the album.
However Nicki Minajs Pink Friday album uses a mixture of font styles to create a chaotic feel to the look of the album. The text 'Roman Reloaded' looks as though it has been painted but has a 3D effect to it so that the text looks like it is physically sticking out of the album. Katy Perrys' album also has different font styles with 'Teenage Dream' displayed quite cartoon like with the text oozing down the album art work.
